Business mission and vision:
We exist to build meaningful relationships to help people achieve success, lead them through stressful situations, and protect what matters the most.
“We provide fellow kiwis with peace of mind and a sense of security for unexpected events. We work on behalf of our clients and the rapport we have with insurers enables us to negotiate favorable terms to meet specific requirements. We also advocate for our clients at claims time and ensure they receive all entitled benefits.”
We always try to be physically present for our clients. Whether that be at renewal time or when a claim arises. A good example of this was a broker flying across the country to be with a client immediately following a long-haul truck accident and ensuring we were there to support them as the loss adjuster assessed the damages. The client was our priority at this time and the broker had to buy a change of clothes and toiletries after checking in with them.
We have not entered any previous awards.
Our passion for helping others and providing exceptional service was the driving force behind the decision to venture into being a business owner in the insurance broker industry.
As with many new businesses we faced the initial challenges of recruiting the right people, finding a suitable premise and securing adequate funding. Since then, we have faced multiple challenges over the years including supporting our clients through earthquakes, floods and cyclones. During these periods we see a high volume of claims and our staff work tirelessly to ensure our clients are back on their feet in a reasonable timeframe.
We recently underwent a complete rebranding and change in direction from a legacy name to deliver a brand that has energy with universal appeal across all age groups. Although we risked losing clients through loss of brand recognition, we found our clients to be very supportive and new business has implied that this has been a successful change.
The last few years have challenged the way we do business, and this has allowed us to recognise that we do not need to be in the same office physically to work effectively as a team. This has resulted in recruitment throughout the country, which has also helped increase our physical presence for our clients.
Our biggest achievement is growth. Our employees have grown by over 200% and turnover has increased by 150% in the last ten years.
We are most proud of the longevity of the relationships with many of our 6000 clients who have supported and trusted us over the years including multiple generations. We are also very proud of the successful people who are dedicated to helping our clients.

We encourage our people to seize new opportunities, challenge themselves and strive to be the best. We provide access to internal mentoring and ongoing professional development. We also provide funding for external education.
We recently received positive feedback from a customer whose young son lost his cochlear implant, and we were able to have the $30,000 insurance claim paid to the family within five hours of receiving the claim form. The client then found the missing implant and was happy to return the payment to the insurer and withdraw the claim. The broker and claims support team worked very hard in this instance to ensure a great outcome for the client at every stage of the process.
Being surrounded by awesome people is the main benefit. Witnessing someone’s growth and success in their career is incredibly heartwarming. It is a testament to their hard work, dedication and determination.
We provide sponsorship to various individuals and organisations including children attending sporting events overseas, community rugby clubs and Christmas events for children.
We provide regular donations to local schools, kindergartens, art galleries and gymnastics clubs in addition to charities who support children with cancer, autism and other additional needs.
