For the challenge and to change my financial position.
The only significant challenge has been the ability to manage large work flows while keeping existing clients happy while taking on new clients. Being in a position where in order for our business to succeed we’ve had to take on staff and grow. We’ve had to adapt from just being an electrician to becoming a business person and that has been a significant challenge.
Perseverance is a day to day reality in running an electrical business. You need to be flexible and accommodating towards your clients needs while ensuring the work being done is of the highest quality.
This is a hard question to answer. We have grown the company from a one person operator to a company that employs 10 staff and are continuing to grow. That we have managed to do this during the last 6 years and managed to stay in business is a success. There is still a lot more to work on and a lot more success to come.
How the team as a group works together and with other contractors to achieve the common goal of delivering a project for our clients. Our team is made up of a great bunch of people and we enjoy working together
In most instances we work for a range of contractors, builders, plumbers, project management companies. We do use air conditioning specialists when required.
Train people through their apprenticeships, as people grow within the trade give them further opportunities to become supervisors and to help train apprentices coming through. As the company grows and matures other forms of professional development opportunities will be available to employees to help them grow within the business.
We give young people the opportunity to enter a trade where they can learn
In the past we have sponsored Tawa Intermediate School
