Family business. I love baking, I love business and I love teaching apprentices a trade
The struggle of survial is greater than starting a new brand. We have always be innovative, market leaders and offer great service all round
Covid was a time a lot of business retrenched however our previous investment with an online store and delivery mechanism allowed us to gfrow our bakerybasket brand and expose it to the world. We had to adapt to Covid protocols but we are agile and resilient. We also suffered the loss of my father who started and ran the comapny several years ago As a fajily unit along with our longstanding team we overcame the event and used it as motivation to grow and suceed.
Lots. Multiple bakery awards, chamber of commerce awards and finalist.
Apprenticeships, coffee and barista courses, gateway program, we also like taking on school students as a first job and teaching them how to work!
Flexibility, opportunity to change, development, family time, bringing my kids into work and teching them how to bake
We are community focussed and sponsor schools, sports clubs and also donate all leftovers to community organisations for redistribution to people and families in need.
We take on young people as a first job to help teach them work ethic
